There is something otherworldly about twilight in Taos
Two nights in a row in early June provided some spectacular colors at sunset from our viewpoint on El Salto. I captured this one on the second night as the twilight was fading.
The Unordinary Colors of Taos
The sunsets in Taos are simply amazing. Every night it seems, the entire landscape is transformed into a surreal landscape of unordinary colors. I try to capture and convey this in my photographs, but even the most successful of these is only a hint of the rich hues involved in the actual experience.
The scene here emerged as a thunderstorm passed to our north and left an interesting canvas for the twilight colors.
